the revised pay band on Punjab Pattern
Sir,
With
regards, myself want to attract your kind attention towards the revised pay
band notification of JBTs/ETTs/HTs/CHTs/BEEOs in Himachal Pradesh. The
notification attached below is clear but the fitment table for JBTs has not
been notified with it. The Punjab Pattern Pay band must be applied with Punjab
Pattern fitment table for
/ETTs/HTs/CHTs/BEEOs in HP. The initial start under the new pay band
must be 12090+4200= 16290 than 11470 .Such a huge loss will destroy the future
of primary teachers in Himachal Pradesh . Already, huge injustice has occurred
in last 5 years due to wrong allocation of Pay band which means that /ETTs/HTs
in HP were given lower pay band of 5910-20200 than applicable pay band
10300-34800 which was objectionable. The discrepancy was removed by Punjab
Govt. last year and pay band allocation based new fitment table for JBT/ETT is
as below:

As
the revised pay structure for HTs/CHTs
and BEEOs is different after it, which is on the pre revised table 7000-10980
with revised pay band 10300-34800 and Grade Pay Rs. 4400 for HTs. The CHTs had
pre-revised pay structure 7220-10980 with revised pay band 10300-34800 and
Grade Pay Rs. 4600. While pre-revised Pay band for BEEO/BPEO was 7220-11660
which was revised and made Rs. 10300-34800+ Grade pay Rs. 5000.

Please issue the necessary direction to the HP Finance department to
issue such fitment tables for Primary Teachers in Himachal Pradesh.
The lack of issuing such fitment table may cause huge loss to all
Primary Teachers as the pay fixation work is in progress. The discrepancy in
the pay band has been removed after more than 4 years and Primary teachers have
not agitated against the state govt. for not issuing any compensation for the
loss occurred to them. Now, if the fitment tables are not issued in time and
there is no clear policy about its implementation, it will not be tolerated at
any cost please. The allowances may vary in HP but the Pay band fitment table
in Himachal Pradesh may not be different from that of Punjab for any category
of employees. If any such loss occur or varied fitment tables are issued for
Primary Teachers than those applied Punjab last year, the matter will be taken
to HP High Court as well for the justice if the state govt. fails in it. As
there must not be any type of discrimination in the Pat fixation fitment tables
of Primary Teachers/ BEEOs . Please take the matter seriously and issue the
necessary directions to Finance Department, HP.
